This is a basic 1156 style socket.  This socket supports a normal signal filament 1156 size bulb.   It can also support the 1003 bulbs.

We use this socket in our full size turn signals.   We also supply this part in our tail pod kits.

Normally this socket is pressed into a fixture and the front lip is flared for tight fit.  However, You can use expoxy and glue this socket into a fixture at home.   The expoxy should last a lifetime.

The wires are a nice thick 18 to 20 gauge and the wires are soldered into the fixture for long lifetime of reliable service.
